Handmade in India

The Mishka maxi in Azure Blue, inspired by classic Indian gauze dresses from the past. Featured in lightweight, block printed cotton with a touch of silver lurex thread throughout. The balloon sleeve is a soft, feminine touch to the piece while the stunning ruffled hem creates a perfect goddess like drape. A soft cotton tassel tie at the chest allows an optional tie up or open relaxed look.

Please note the Mishka styles run large so you may wish to size down. Please refer to the size guide to determine your perfect fit.

Material ~ 97% Cotton 3% Lurex thread

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Cotton maxi dresses

I haven’t worn it yet as it is too long. I am only able to wear cotton and it’s not always easy to find. For me, the dress has to double up as a nightie during the day, as I have to lie down during the day, due to a spinal injury. This dress has a lovely feel. A bit big round the neck, but I can fix that. Otherwise, it’s pretty as well as practical.BTW I am 76 and a great believer of colourful clothes. Maxi dresses are perfect coverups ! Many thanks

I love DOI dresses ..I was disappointed with this one ..it’s beautifully made and screen printing of a gorgeous standard but the colour is very different to website …the white is more cream and the blue is mid navyish blue not azure .

Dresses are all made from the highest cotton attainable, block printed on the Mishka dress, however due to the handmade nature of our garments some different dyes can change the feeling of these dresses. I would recommend using a little organic fabric softener in your hand wash and line drying.
