Lalika presents a classic pinafore style crafted from a rare and exclusive hand-loomed textile in stunning shades of burgundy, tan, cream and magenta. Showcasing the beauty of true hand-craftsmanship, the mismatched plaid design features a bustier shaped corset and criss-cross open back flowing into an A-line midi length skirt, a hip-to-bust zip in the middle of the back and tan cotton underlining for added comfort.

Material ~ 100% Hand-loomed Cotton with 100% Cotton Lining.

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Ethically handmade with love in India, the creation of this garment serves to support local traditions and the preservation of the ancient artistry of handloom weaving.

SOOOO pretty, but... tiny bust area and huge waist.

The dress is gorgeous, but not for a thinner person with a large chest. You will be "bound" or smashed in. It's up to you, but since this company has a no refund policy, and every other dress (some so pretty you want to get them all) are also not made for a large bust (AKA they 'float' around you and it's like you're 12 months pregnant). I had to get something or lose a LOT of money. Although... if you're pregnant, I highly advise you to get these. Again, gorgeous, well made, but be careful for the cut if you're thin and have a large cup size.

After reading the reviews I was nervous about choosing a size, however, I was happy to find that the dress was more true to size than on the smaller side. I normally wear a 10 in dresses and purchased the Medium. If anything, it was a tiny bit loose. The material is nice and the dress is lined. I just wish it was a little longer. I am 171cm and it isn't maxi length on me. Really glad I bought the dress.

This dress is stunning. The colour palette is perfect for the change of seasons and the crossover back is beautiful. I purchased a large after reading reviews saying it ran small but had to exchange for a smaller size as I found it to be more true to size. I love it so much and I cant wait to style it different ways x
